  • Greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions estimation

    GHG emissions data from this platform should only be used to understand a company's overall emissions profile and should not be used for business decision making / public disclosure or reporting purposes. Companies are recommended to follow the GHG Protocol guidance / ISO14064 standard for actual quantification of their GHG emissions.

  • Time taken to input data into calculator

    The estimated amount of time needed to fill up fields in the calculator is between 0.5 – 2 hours depending on data availability. Companies may consider preparing the following illustrative data inputs prior to keying in data into the calculator to reduce the amount of time needed to complete the calculator form.

    • Fuel consumption by type

    • Electricity, heat, steam and/or cooling consumption by country

    • Amount of refrigerant consumed and SF6 gas

    • Distance travelled for the transportation of materials, products, waste, or employees

    • Waste disposal quantity with treatment type

    • Distance travelled by travel type (air, road or sea)

    • Total number of employees

    • Percentage of employees using personal car, bus, rail or taxi to commute to work

    • Average distance travelled by employee using personal car, bus, rail or taxi to commute to work

    • Number and type of leased assets including average energy consumption or average distance travelled for each leased vehicles

    • Scope 1 and 2 emissions of each investee company and percentage share in project cost
